The base SE trim is also available with a Special Edition package, which adds some comfort and style features to the inside and outside. Exterior components on the SE trim include LED taillights, a single exhaust with dual chrome diffusers, a sporty rear spoiler, 16-inch alloy wheels, front-end dark gray accents, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators.
With the Nightshade Edition, the Corolla Hatchback includes blacked-out trim elements, including black exhaust diffusers with a black rear diffuser surround, 18-inch black alloy wheels, side rocker panels, and special badges. The top XSE trim has its own chrome accents, 18-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, and unique side rocker panels.
Engine (Power)
All three trim levels of this model come with the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 168 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. The unit pairs with a dynamic-shift continuously variable transmission that powers the front wheels, although a manual transmission is an available option for those who want more shifting control.
