Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Toyota Tundra in six trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro. You can further customize your truck with either a long bed or a short bed, and several trims offer a choice between a double cab or a CrewMax cab. The SR has 18-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, and a sheet-molded compound composite bed. You get alloy wheels and LED foglights on the SR5.
The Limited ups the wheels to 20-inch and adds hydraulic cab mounts for a smoother ride. You find premium LED headlights on the Platinum, while the 1794 adds unique badges and accents to pay tribute to ranch style. Engine (Power)
For the 2022 model year, the standard engine on the first five trims is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. A second engine is optional on the Limited, Platinum, and 1794 editions and standard on the TRD Pro. It's the same 3.5-liter V-6 paired to a battery-electric hybrid system. This engine produces 437 horsepower and 585 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Toyota knows that performance-enhancing features improve the overall driving experience whether you're using the Tundra for work or play. You can get any of the trims in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive to provide you with control over any road or weather conditions. Starting at the SR5, a towing package is available that adds a class IV trailer hitch, integrated trailer brake controller, and four-pin and seven-pin trailer connector. The Platinum upgrades you with a trailer backup guide system, and the TRD Pro offers Crawl Control for off-roading.
Interior
When you slide into the 2022 Toyota Tundra, you'll find features designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable. The SR has a keyless entry and start as well as an 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SR5 adds a rear center armrest and cupholders. With the Limited, you get a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, simulated leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 14-inch touch screen. The Platinum is upgraded with a power-adjustable steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated rear seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and a premium JBL audio system.
Safety Features

The Tundra comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, which has a pre-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a lane-keeping system.
