Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Toyota Tundra in six trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro. You can further customize your truck with either a long bed or a short bed, and several trims offer a choice between a double cab or a CrewMax cab. The SR has 18-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, and a sheet-molded compound composite bed. You get alloy wheels and LED foglights on the SR5.

Engine (Power)
For the 2022 model year, the standard engine on the first five trims is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. A second engine is optional on the Limited, Platinum, and 1794 editions and standard on the TRD Pro. It's the same 3.5-liter V-6 paired to a battery-electric hybrid system. This engine produces 437 horsepower and 585 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Toyota knows that performance-enhancing features improve the overall driving experience whether you're using the Tundra for work or play. You can get any of the trims in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive to provide you with control over any road or weather conditions. Starting at the SR5, a towing package is available that adds a class IV trailer hitch, integrated trailer brake controller, and four-pin and seven-pin trailer connector. The Platinum upgrades you with a trailer backup guide system, and the TRD Pro offers Crawl Control for off-roading.
Interior
When you slide into the 2022 Toyota Tundra, you'll find features designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable.
