2023 Toyota GR Supra
The Toyota GR Supra delivers an exciting driving experience with its abundance of power, excellent handling, and comfortable cabin. This performance car is comfortable enough to serve as a daily driver, but it's also quick and responsive when you want to bump up the excitement. For the 2023 model year, the GR Supra gains a new manual transmission as an option for the 3.0 models, and it comes standard on a new A91-MT limited edition model. Additional changes for the 2023 GR Supra include a new driving mode and revised tuning for the steering and suspension.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 GR Supra engine lineup starts with the 2.0. This model has 18-inch cast-aluminum 10-spoke wheels, dual rear exhaust outlets, and an aerodynamic underbody panel. The 3.0 is up next with an adaptive variable sport suspension, active rear sport differential, and brushed stainless steel exhaust tips. The 3.0 Premium adds several upgrades in the cabin, and the new A91-MT has Brembo 4-piston disc brakes, red strut tower braces, red Supra badging, and 19-inch forged-aluminum Frozen Gunmetal Gray wheels.
Engine (Power)
The base GR Supra gets power from a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower. The 3.0 delivers 382 horsepower and gets 367 pound-feet of torque, and you can now get this with a six-speed manual transmission. The 3.0 Premium offers the six-speed manual or the eight-speed automatic, and the new A91-MT comes only with the manual.
Performance
When equipped with the six-cylinder engine and the automatic transmission, the Supra accelerates to 60 mph in just four seconds. Choose the manual transmission, and the GR Supra has a specially tuned traction control system that will help prevent wheel slip when the Supra's in first gear on slippery roads.
Interior
The GR Supra is a two-seat performance car. It has deeply bolstered sport seats, knee padding mounted to the side of the console, and high-grip material to help keep you in place when taking tight corners. A 14-way power-adjustable driver's seat makes it easy to find the right driving position, and the optional leather trim and heated seats make sure you stay comfortable no matter how long you're on the road. The GR Supra has a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and paddle shifters for even more control.
Technology features in the 2023 GR Supra start with an 8.8-inch central display screen and a digital gauge cluster for the driver. Apple CarPlay is available along with a navigation system, and you can also get a 12-speaker JBL stereo system. Wireless charging comes in the 3.0 Premium, which also has a head-up display.
Safety Features
Every 2023 GR Supra comes well-equipped with standard safety features. These include a pre-collision system with automatic braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beam headlights. It also includes a road-sign recognition system. The optional Driver Assist Package adds a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic warning, along with parking sensors that will beep when you get close to a nearby object. Adaptive cruise control is also an optional feature for Supra models equipped with the automatic transmission.
