Trim Levels (Exterior)
This truck has a robust exterior with a bold grille and bumpers you can't overlook. Seven trim levels are available. The base SR has styled-steel wheels and a reinforced bed. The SR5 swaps to alloy wheels and adds powerful towing and hauling features. The Limited has 20-inch alloy wheels and an available TRD Off-Road package. Add even more thrill to your ride with the Platinum, which includes 20-inch dark-gray painted alloy wheels. The 1794 Edition has a chrome-finished grille and special exterior accents. The TRD Pro is ready for anything with all-terrain tires and improved off-road suspension. The Capstone boasts 22-inch dark chrome and machined-finish alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Toyota Tundra SR has an i-FORCE 3.4-liter Twin-Turbo V-6 engine with 358 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Upgrade to the SR5, Limited, Platinum, or 1794 Edition to increase to 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The TRD Pro and Capstone go even further, coming with an i-FORCE MAX 3.4-liter Twin-Turbo V-6 Hybrid engine, boasting 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. This truck can tow up to 12,000 pounds and has a maximum payload of 1,940 pounds.
Performance
All trim levels have a 10-speed automatic transmission. The SR starts with a double-wishbone front suspension and coil spring rear suspension. Higher trim levels offer a sport-tuned suspension or off-road suspension, adaptive variable suspension, and a load-leveling suspension. Choose from the TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Package for the available crawl control system, which automatically adjusts brakes and throttle to help you pass challenging terrain. Both the TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Packages also have available electronically locking rear differential, further increasing grip.
Interior
The 2023 Toyota Tundra comes equipped with seats designed to offer comfort and support. Increase your comfort with available heated seats, leather trim, or a rear glass window that lowers for maximum interior airflow. Choose the Limited for a larger touchscreen and trimmed front seats, or add some thrill to your ride with the Platinum, which includes a panoramic roof. The 1794 Edition has a beautiful, unique interior, including American walnut trim. The Capstone boasts dark chrome wheels and a black-and-white interior.
You can also choose the available panoramic view monitor, which uses a combination of cameras to give you a complete view of the outside. Wireless smartphone charging is available in the Limited and standard in higher trims.
Safety Features
The 2023 Toyota Tundra comes with a complete Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5 package, including pedestrian detection and lane departure alerts. You can enjoy the ride knowing your Tundra automatically includes eight airbags and 3-point seatbelts. Available features include blind spot monitoring, parking assist, and a trailer backup guide with straight path assist.
