2023 Toyota GR Corolla Trims

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla comes with three trim levels. The Core, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition are equipped with a 1.6L 3-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum of 300 hp. They also include Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0, a comprehensive safety-assist package. The major differences between the three trims are in availability, exterior styling, and performance upgrades.

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Trim Lineup Detailed

Core

The GR Corolla’s trim levels begin with the five-seater Core. This is a hatchback that starts off strong with gray stitching accents on the sport seats and a GR-badge on the headrests. The entertainment system comes with an 8-in touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi capabilities. The standard sound system is a six-speaker setup, but the available Technology package adds an eight-speaker JBL sound system.

Exterior features include LED headlights, daytime running lights, 15-spoke cast-alloy wheels, and unique side rocker panels with fender flares. There are also four-piston front brake calipers with both ventilated and slotted roots. The vehicle comes standard with a rearview camera that offers parking aid lines.

Circuit Edition

The Circuit Edition adds a forged carbon-fiber roof. The four-piston front brake calipers are painted red in this edition. Toyota added a hood bulge for the Circuit Edition with functional air vents and a track-inspired rear spoiler.

The driver’s sports seats are upgraded to heated sports seats with synthetic leather trimming and red stitching accents. The Circuit Edition also adds a heated steering wheel.

Morizo Edition

While the Circuit Edition and Core both seat five passengers, the Morizo Edition is a two-seater vehicle. The rear seat and a few other parts were removed to improve performance. The Morizo comes with unique 10-spoke forged-alloy wheels in a matte black.

Inside, drivers will notice the same red stitching found in the Circuit Edition with the addition of red seat belts. There is an Ultrasuede-wrapped steering wheel with controls for the radio, multi-information display, and voice-command controls.

Available Performance Package

The Core trim level has an available Performance package. Adding this will gain drivers front and rear Torsen limited slip differentials to improve performance. It will also add the red-painted brake calipers featured in the Circuit Edition and Morizo Edition. This package adds a few of the features to the base model that make it look and perform more like the higher trim levels.
