The DARCARS Toyota of Baltimore team has been visiting the Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center to help give back to the healthcare workers that have been keeping our community healthy through COVID-19.

What We’re Doing to Help

Our team has been setting up, with full protective suits and gear, in the Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center parking garage to deep clean and sanitize the vehicles of the healthcare workers here at no charge. This not only lessens the chance of them getting sick from the virus but also lessens the risk of them bringing it home to their loved ones. We even helped replace a battery for a worker who’s vehicle’s battery was failing at no additional charge. This is the least we can do for those putting themselves at risk to keep us healthy. Disinfect Your Vehicle at Home

When disinfecting your vehicle, remember that the virus can be killed with alcohol solutions that are at least 70 percent alcohol. You’ll also want to switch to clean rags when moving to the next surface. Using a vacuum will also be beneficial to reach between the cracks and creases for dirt. Some spots you’ll want to ensure you hit include:

• Door handles
• Radio buttons
• Gear shift
• Center console
• Rearview mirror
• Exterior door handles

Once you hit these areas, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly and leave a window cracked for the interior to dry out.
